To end a trip with no extra price:

  1.  Find on the map the nearest VAIMOO station to your destination and reach it.
  2. Once you have reached it, you can finish the ride in two way:
  •         Insert the bike in one of the free docking points in the docking station. The confirmation of a correct insertion are two distinct sounds and then the impossibility to remove the bike once the docking station is inserted.
  •         If there are no free docking points or if the station is virtual, i.e. without docking points, simply press "end trip".
  1. Pull down the lever located on the front wheel to insert the manual padlock.
  2. The app will indicate that the trip has ended successfully and will display the "trip summary" screen.


Where are located the docking stations?

The docking stations where it is possible to park are black blocks marked with signs that show VAIMOO.

On VAIMOO app homepage can be found their location and the number of bikes available for each of them.


How park a VAIMOO bike in the docking station?

When you park a VAIMOOO bike to the docking station, make sure:

  1. You have heard two sounds, one metallic and the other digital, which indicate that the bike has been correctly inserted into the docking station.
  2. That the bike is locked so that it cannot be removed from the docking station.


How to insert the manual padlock?

After parking the bike correctly into the VAIMOO docking station:

  1. Wait for the digital sound and pull down the padlocking lever on the front wheel of the bike.
  2. The app will mark that the trip has ended successfully.


In case of problems

"I can't finish the trip"

  • Check the bike is locked in the docking station.
  • Make sure you have heard two distinct sounds from the docking station.
  • Check the "trip ended" screen is on the app.

If the problem persists, please contact VAIMOO support directly from the app:

  1. From the side menu press on "Support".
  2. Activate the phone call.


"The bike is not stuck in the docking station"

  1. Try to insert the bike firmly into the docking station using your shin on the pedal.
  2. Make sure you hear two sounds, one metallic and the other digital, which indicate the correct insertion of the bike into the docking station.
  • Change docking station.

"I can end the trip only with an extra price"

This is because:

  • the system did not recognize the bike insert in the docking station;
  • You are parking outside the docking station even though there are free docking points;
  • you are leaving the bike away from a docking station.

To resolve this:

  1. Try inserting the bike firmly into the docking station again, or using your shin on the pedal.
  2. Make sure that you hear two sounds, one metallic and the other digital, which mark the correct insertion of the bike into the docking station.
  • Change docking station.

"After inserting the bike correctly into the docking station, the front padlock lever does not stay down"

  • Wait a few seconds to see the front lock closure warning on the app and then do so.
  • Make sure that the spokes of the bike do not get in the way of the lock closure, rotate the wheel slightly to ensure correct closure.
